There are plenty of great skateparks and scooter parks littered around the Gold Coast. Below is a shortlist of some of my favourites.

Nerang Skate Park, Nerang
One of the largest outdoor skate parks on the Gold Coast, this place will have it all whether you are a beginner to advanced.
Its features include:
- Skate bowl,
- Stair gaps,
- Grind boxes,
- Grind rails,
- Kickers, and a
- Bowl Feature.

Skate Park, Oxenford
Practise on some great kickers and rails at this skate park. You won’t find this place overrun with people as it is located fairly out of the way.

Binstead Way Stake Park, Gaven
This is a bit more of a basic skate park but offers something different to the other parks that I’m aware of. This place only has a large half-pipe/spine and a bit of a flat concrete area for skating.
You wouldn’t come here day after day, but to mix things up it is a good skate and scooter park.

Skate Park, Runaway Bay
The skatepark at Runaway Bay has both a big double bowl and a flat land area with kickers and rails.
If you have your bike you can also check out the dirt bike ramps and track just next to here.

Palm Beach Mini Ramp, Palm Beach
Located next to large grassed soccer fields and netball courts is Palm Beach Mini Ramp.
It only has a large half-pipe so it won’t keep you busy all day.

Ormeau Skate Park, Ormeau
Just across from the Ormeau Shopping centre is the Ormeau skate park. It is a kid-friendly skatepark with mostly all of the features on the smaller side. A great place to take the kids to learn how to skateboard or scooter.
This is a handy place to visit as it is just next door to a dirt bike track in case you want to do both.

Adventure Parklands, Upper Coomera
For one of te best half pipes and street parks on the Gold Coast, tucked out of the way in Upper Coomera, Adventure Parklands has one of the best skate and scooter parks on the Gold Coast.
It the same area there is also a mountain bike track and an outdoor gym.
Facilities also include toilets, potable water, and free car parking.
