There are lots of public and private swimming pools on the Gold Coast, but which one ticks the most boxes for families?
Our favourite ones to visit are:

- Wet’n’Wild Gold Coast, Oxenford
- White Water World, Oxenford
- Miami Aquatic Centre, Miami
- Helensvale Aquatic Centre, Helensvale
Gold Coast Aquatic Centre, Southport
For my family and I (2 adults and 2 kids under 5) our favourite swimming pool is the Gold Coast Aquatic Centre.
The Gold Coast Aquatic Centre is the best swimming pool for families and kids because it has a pool to keep everyone of every age happy. The pools there include lap pools, a deep-diving pool, heated and kid-friendly pools and a kid splash area.

Wet’n’Wild Gold Coast, Oxenford
While this isn’t really a swimming pool centre, it is a great place to take the kids swimming.
Wet’n’Wild on the Gold Coast has more slides and rides than is worth mentioning, and a fun wave pool and kid splash pool.
If you are able to get a locals pass this is by far the best value, $159 for unlimited entry into Wet’n’Wild (plus Seaworld and Movieworld), if you aren’t a local the same pass will be $230. Otherwise, if you just pay for a single visit, you will be forking out $79 for an adult and $84 for a kid (buy online and save up to $10 per ticket).
White Water World, Oxenford
Just across from Wet’n’Wild is Dreamworld’s White Water World.
You can either get a single day pass or if you have a Dreamworld annual pass you can get in with that. You could spend the day here quite easily with more than enough rides, swimming pools and slides to keep you and your kids busy all day.
Miami Aquatic Centre, Miami
The Miami Aquatic Centre used to be good, but they are now revamping the facility. Currently, there is only a single 50m lap pool open at the Miami Aquatic Centre.
Once the renovations are done be sure to check this one out, it will be equipped with all of the modern facilities.
Helensvale Aquatic Centre, Helensvale
The Helensvale Aquatic Centre has a very fun splash pool for the little kids. There is an indoor heated swimming pool and an outdoor lap pool.
They even hold kids birthday parties here. You can arrange to have supervision and an inflatable obstacicle course for the kids to play on.
