Kids Playground

The kids playground is fully fenced around to help keep your kids safe from running onto the road and has a shade sail that will mostly cover the play equipment in shade depending on the position of the sun.

The play equipment in the park includes:

  • Swings
  • Slide
  • Climbing net
  • Rockers

Other Features

There are several other features of this park which is great for families wanting to play at the park, these include:

  • Basketball half court
  • Mini tennis court (also good for handball)
  • A volleyball net
  • Lots of open space to run and play tag or kick a ball.

There is a path that surrounds the park that kids could ride their bikes or scooters on, but this is adjacent to the road so probably wouldn’t be safe enough for young kids.

Facilities

If you want you could make use of the free electronic BBQ at Wattle Reserve park to cook any meat you want to take on your picnic. There is also one undercover eating area which is pretty popular and hard to grab.

There is plenty of free parking around the park with some parking on-site and street parking all along the Esplanade.
