Gold Coast restaurants You Can Take The Kids To

Going out to eat as a family isn’t as easy as it used to be before kids. Your little ones if they aren’t eating will need some type of stimulation to keep them from fighting each other.

Here is a list of restaurants that cater to families by providing facilities to keep your kids occupied.

Canungra Hotel, Canungra

What little (and big) kid doesn’t love jumping castles. Head to Canungra Hotel and your kids will be able to work up an appetite before and after dinner jumping on their jumping castle.

Situated outside right next to the dining area you can relax and while also keeping a watchful eye on your kids.

Robina Pavilion, Robina

The newly renovated Robina Pavilion thought about the families that want to dine there. They have built a mini playground that you can let your kids run around in. With a little tunnel and hill, the kids can use their imagination to stay busy.

Benowa Tavern, Benowa

This is a favourite of our family. We have been here for three different kid birthday parties and a Halloween party. They have a focus on families and I have found them to be very helpful and accommodating.

Bearded Dragon Hotel, Tamborine

If you have the family out on a day trip around Mt Tamborine, the Bearded Dragon Hotel is a great place to stretch the legs and let the kids run around.

There is a big playground, plenty of space and a petting farm where you can feed alpacas and other animals.

The restaurant food is fantastic and they have their own craft beer on tap.

Pre covid, they used to do an animal show where kids could touch and hold snakes and lizards. Once that comes back it will be another activity to interest and occupy the kids.
