Kids Playground

Featuring the best merry-go-round in Brisbane (in my opinion), this kids’ playground will keep the kids playing for hours.

This merry-go-round can get pretty fast and is so big and heavy that it just keeps spinning and spinning.

There is also a large “watch” tower that can be accessed by climbing the outer dome or the netting around it. Once at the top, you can either lookout around the park or head down the large green plastic slide.

The toddlers were also thought about with several park features that would be suitable for smaller and younger kids.

There is a cubby house play feature that has two slides on it, a suspension bridge and numerous different ways they can access it.

There is also a sand play area that will encourage your kids to get their hands dirty.

Other features that are included in the park are:

  • Rope swing
  • Monkey bars
  • Jumping stones and crawling tunnel
  • Swings
  • Shade sails mostly throughout

The only drawback of this park is that there isn’t any barriers or fencing separating the kids from the road. The playground fortunately is set back away from the road by a fair distance.

Accessibility

Unfortunately, this park does not cater for people with accessibility issues.

Parkour Park

This is another great feature that the older kids would like to play on. They will be forced to use their imagination and make their own fun here.

Basketball Half-Court

Bring the kids to shoot some hoops at the half-court.

Soccer & Football Goal

There is a single soccer and football post stand in the middle of a sandy/rocky park of park. It’s a shame that there isn’t sufficient grass growing around here because if there was it would get used a lot more.

Bike and scooter paths

There aren’t many paths for kids to safely ride their scooters and bikes around. There is really just the one footpath there, which goes from the street, winds through the park, then heads out back to the other entry to the park.

You aren’t able to just let your kids go round and round on a circuit, unfortunately.

Dog Park

There is a large fenced dog park next to the kids’ playground.

Park Other Features
